ഫോണുകളിലെത്തിയ ശേഷം ആന്‍ഡ്രോയിഡ് ആപ്പെന്ന വ്യാജേന പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് ബാങ്ക് വിവരങ്ങള്‍, കോണ്‍ടാക്റ്റുകള്‍, വണ്‍ ടൈം പാസ്വേര്‍ഡുകള്‍, തുടങ്ങിയവ ചോര്‍ത്തിയെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുകയാണ് ജോക്കര്‍ മാല്‍വെയറിന്റെ രീതി.
